ABOUT ME

As a writer and editor focused on the visual and performing arts, I have accumulated a great deal of experience working with museums, galleries, magazines, independent artists, and nonprofit arts organizations. Writing projects include feature articles, exhibition previews and reviews, press releases, essays, exhibition tours, and grants. Editorial and publishing projects consist of managing the production of program books, exhibition catalogues, newsletters, blogs, and web copy. Please see the Clips page for examples.

Before entering the freelance arena, I served as the director of publications and director of grants and sponsorships for an international classical music organization. Prior to that, I was the curator of education and writer and editor at a contemporary art museum. I hold master's and bachelor's degrees in art history, and I've spent time in New York City, where I completed internships at the Museum of Modern Art and a Madison Avenue art gallery.

I'm eager to hear about your writing or editing project. Please contact me with project inquiries or to request more information.
