ABOUT ME

As a writer and editor focused on the visual and performing arts, I have accumulated more than fifteen years of experience working with museums, galleries, magazines, independent artists, and nonprofit arts organizations. Writing projects include feature articles, exhibition previews and reviews, press releases, essays, self-guided exhibition tours, and grants. Editorial and publishing projects consist of managing the production of program books, exhibition catalogues, and newsletters. I also have varied experience designing and publishing both print and online pieces. Please see the Clips page for examples.

Before entering the freelance arena, I served as the director of publications and director of grants and sponsorships for an international classical music organization. Prior to that, I was the curator of education and writer and editor at a contemporary art museum. I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in art history, and I have spent time in New York City, where I completed internships at the Museum of Modern Art and at a Madison Avenue art gallery. I am eager to hear about your project, and to work with you to create a spectacular piece. Please contact me with inquiries, for price quotes, or to request more information.
